Chris Whaley was born in October of 1957, the second of five children.  After graduating from Bob Jones University in 1980, she taught school in Omaha, Nebraska, and worked for a Master's Degree at the University there.

It was while walking to her classes on campus that Chris began to sense a slight weakness in her right foot.  As her condition worsened, she came home and a few months later was diagnosed with Amyotropic Lateral Sclerosis, "Lou Gehrigs's Disease."

            She Died		 Chris lived a triumphant Christian life in the final four months of her life.  During these months, she discussed with her parents ways of using her experience to minister to others by pointing them to Christ.  Her parents, Shirley and Erwin Whaley, founded Chris Whaley Ministries after God took their daughter home to heaven in July of 1982.

After trusting Christ as her Savior at age four, Chris lived the next twenty years dedicated to pleasing her Lord.  It was always Chris' desire to point as many people toward heaven as possible.  Even in her dying days, this ambition was foremost in her life.  Without doubt, if her testimony could yet lead others to Christ, she would be most pleased.  She would like to meet you in Heaven!  Please consider four questions in order to be sure you will see her there.
