Chris Whaley Ministries is a Fundamental, Christian ministry headed by John and Shirley Magnuson. Shirley Magnuson knows what it means to experience grief and sorrow. "It was through the life and death of my daughter Chris that a ministry of helps was raised up to help hurting people in their grief and bereavement in the loss of loved ones. |

"At the age of eleven, I lost my
father and two brothers in a train accident. Shortly
thereafter, my mother passed away. Then, my daughter
Chris, at the age of twenty-four, was taken with Lou Gehrig's
disease. In 1997, my husband Erwin passed away. We
had been married for forty-two years. I have lost other
loved ones, and in doing so, I have experienced the intensity of
sorrow and grief and know how difficult it can be. Thus,
the desire to help others came after my daughter Chris's
death. I have remarried and my husband John Magnuson
supports and helps me in the ministry to hurting people. John & Shirley Magnuson |
